Organic Steel is the result of joint Dumarey forces.
Anastasia & Walter combined their passions and interests, as a team they are exploring
the endless possibilities industrial processes offer combined with manual manipulations.
They create unique durable perforated panels with the emphasis on art.

Organic Steel formed through the search for the steel appeal,
this as Anastasia’s answer to Walter’s proposal for a collaborative project.

`The grandeur of iconic buildings and interiors left me in awe as a child, as an adult spaces as such still move me, with Organic Steel the aim is to reintroduce these decorative and inspiring elements into our contemporary architecture and interiors.'
What truly sets us apart is the emphasis on art

decorative styles of the past.
Our mission therefor is to bring back beauty.
To honour our cultural heritage, we take these sources of inspiration creating something new, giving them a modern twist.

Unique Patterns
The pattern design is highly important to us at Organic Steel,
unique designs is what sets us apart.
Inspiration is drawn from Anastasia’s original artwork or existing patterns
( architecture, tiles, wallpapers,… ) instead of simply copy pasting these shapes and designs, they are respected and studied to derive from them our own version of these classic lines.
From artisanal craft to industry.
As a starting point for the designs of the tile collection,
lino block prints were created to adorn wooden floors with.
From these lino tiles a digital version was derived for laser cut pattern design.
